ROSS JUNK REMOVAL
Good Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything folks usually want to know before they book. Do not see your question? Give us a call.

How much does junk removal cost?

Our pricing is based on how much space your items take up in the truck, starting at our minimum pickup. You always get a firm, upfront price before we load anything, with no hidden fees. See our pricing page for the full rate breakdown.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Every job starts with a free, no-obligation evaluation. Send a few photos or details, or give us a call, and we'll get you a price before we lift a finger.

How soon can you come out?

Often the same or next day, depending on our schedule. We serve the Salem area Monday through Saturday, 9am to 10pm. Call and we will find the soonest available window.

Do I need to be home for the pickup?

Not always. As long as the items are accessible and we have confirmed the details and price ahead of time, we can often handle the job while you are away. We will coordinate what works for you.

What items do you take?

Just about anything non-hazardous: furniture, appliances, mattresses, hot tubs, yard debris, construction and remodel debris, electronics, and full garage, estate, or property cleanouts. If you are not sure, just ask.

Is there anything you cannot take?

For safety and legal reasons we cannot haul hazardous materials like wet paint, chemicals, solvents, asbestos, or medical waste. A few items (appliances with Freon, tires, and similar) carry a small facility disposal fee. We are always happy to point you in the right direction for anything we cannot handle.

What happens to my junk after you haul it away?

We keep as much as possible out of the landfill. Usable goods are donated to local partners like the Salvation Army and Union Gospel Mission, metal goes to Cherry City Metals, and we recycle electronics, appliances, and more.

Do you handle estate, hoarding, or foreclosure cleanouts?

Yes, and we handle them with care and zero judgment. From a single room to an entire property, we work efficiently and treat your belongings with respect.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Ross Junk Removal is a licensed and insured, veteran-owned company, so your property is protected while we work.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Salem, Keizer, West Salem, South Salem, and Woodburn, plus surrounding Willamette Valley towns like Silverton, Stayton, Canby, and Independence. If you are nearby and not listed, just ask.

How and when do I pay?

Payment is due once the job is finished and you are satisfied with the work. We accept cash, debit and credit cards, checks, and cryptocurrency.
